my trip started out with a
i stayed with jessica & her husband, tony for a few days. we did some of our classic "jess & meg things"...pedicures & baking cookies. jessica's oven wasn't working right, so the cookies didn't turn out ;) tony, jess and i took the four wheelers out, along with vinny and parks to find this waterfall. it was a lot of fun! i miss being with my 'country girl!' we chatted and chatted and chatted. a few days was not nearly long enough to catch up on everything though. i loved spending every second with her. thank goodness for staples introducing us, because she has become one of my very bestest friends :)
then i went up to provo & stayed with michelle. heather was homeless that weekend, so with her & i there it was like hotel de michelle! thanks again! the three of us went to the temple one night and it was good. i forgot how awesome it is to just go whenever you want. one day we hiked the Y and i almost died. literally. at one point heather was behind me pushing me up the mountain. she's the best. every time i start that hike, i think "didn't i say i would never ever do this again?!" besides my moaning and groaning the whole time, i did (in the very, very end) enjoy our time doing it. it was snowing on our way up and down, and was breathtakingly beautiful. we also got to celebrate michelle's birth! we did dinner and a movie of her choice. we certainly had fun that weekend. lots of music, laughing, cooking/baking, and staying up l-a-t-e.
michelle and i went to a 'friends brunch' with some old roommates. we ate, laughed and reminisced. thank you amanda and jake for hosting such a fine event! i was invited over to michelle's parents home for Easter dinner. YUM! and we got to partake of michelle's masterpiece cake!
my friend aaron was a hoot. kristi, you were definitely missed! unfortunately a few hours is all we had. and of course, our meeting would not be complete without some cafe rio! soooo delicous. (and by the way to you arizonans - cafe rio here is not very good). while we were there, i spotted nienie. she is rad. ugh, i should have said hi, instead i was too chicken.
well, that weekend was definitely great. a little chilly, but a nice break from the heat.
and, i only have two pictures to show for it. good job, megan.
my dear friend, aaron
mind you, both michelle and aaron are bending their knees & are still taller than me, standing straight up!

Miss Megan, I'm glad you FINALLY blogged about your trip up here. Come back! Michelle and I were just talking about you tonight and how you need to return. As my friend NIke says, just do it.
I miss you.
